Step Bros Pty Ltd is equipped to handle any size and type of timber stair from a feature geometrical to a small or large external stair, as well a some types of steel stairs.

From one-of owner builders, to a large external stair for a body corporate, a group of 30 units, handrails on walls in aged care facilities, deckings of any size with or without pergolas, to an architectural designed stair such as the one we did in the refurbished Young & Jackson Hotel in Melbourne.

Our range of timber types is vast and we are able to match the timber in the stair to your flooring type.  If carpeting your stair we offer either an M.D.F. or a merch pine finish to keep your costs down.  We also have a large range of clear Pine and select grade Vic. Ash in stock at all times.

The balustrade can be one of the most important choices someone will make when building as it is often the first thing you see when you enter your home.  For this reason we offer several different styles including timber (turned or square), stainless steel wire, aluminium and wrought iron which come in many different styles and colours.  Some of which can be seen in the brochures on this website and even more in our showroom. We can even manufacture your own design if you have one.

If these are not your preferred options we will be happy to arrange a time to meet on site and discuss your requirments. At this time we can check that the stair design will fit in your stair well and the design is correct for your style of house.
